visitors of the BD BIOSCIENCES VIRTUAL LAB
Registration & Login
Registration to BD BIOSCIENCES VIRTUAL LAB is possible via https://bdbiosciences-virtual-lab.eventcloud.rooom.com. After
successful registration you can log in to the platform with your e-mail address
and your individually selected password. To do so, please click on the Check-In
button on https://bdbiosciences-virtual-lab.eventcloud.rooom.com/ and enter your respective
login-information.
If you have forgotten your password, please use the Forgot password-function.
What technical requirements
and system requirements are necessary for a visit?
We recommend visiting BD BIOSCIENCES VIRTUAL LAB with a desktop device. You
will need an up-to-date browser (we recommend Google Chrome) and a stable
internet connection
On the login page and under
the menu item My Area you have the option of having an automatic system check
carried out, which checks the technical requirements of your device in advance.

overview!
Networking Profile
You will find your personal information here that you had entered during the registration process. You are also able to change your password in this section.
Furthermore, you can adjust
your main area of interest and the region you are interested in in your
profile. You will then be able to experience different content related to your
choices in the virtual rooms.
3D virtual
rooms
You will be able to enter the virtual rooms via the menu item Lobby. Here, you will first enter a virtual main hall that leads you to different areas to explore – the training center with training room and lab, a customer center and demonstration center with a biosciences lab-showroom.
Which interactions are
possible?
If you hold down the left mouse button, you can look around the virtual room. With the arrow keys or the W, A, S, D keys you can move around the room. Alternatively, you can hold down the right mouse button, use the mouse scroll wheel or click on a point in the room. The possible option for moving are also explained in the Help-bubble on the bottom right menu.
To move from one room to another you can click on the respective doors
connecting them. Furthermore, there is a minimap of all the rooms in the top
right corner of your screen. By clicking on other rooms, you will automatically
enter the selected room without having to move towards any doors within the
rooms.
There are different kinds of active elements to be found in the virtual
rooms. For example, you can use monitors to start videos or open web pages.
Clicked brochures can be scrolled by clicking in the upper or lower right
corner. You can also download them via the download button.
